My name is Amandine Bula. I’m originally from Belgium and I moved to Toronto in search of new adventures.
In 2011, I graduated with a Bachelor degree in Communications in my home country. Feeling the need for some change, I felt it was time for me to upgrade my skills and develop my interest in the exciting world of social media. On September 2016, I took the plunge and returned to the classroom. Currently, I’m a Social Media student at Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology. During the first semester, we were assigned the creation of a blog, this blog. I took advantage of my domain and kept it as an academic portfolio. You’ll discover page after page that I definitely have more of a creative mind than an analytical one.
Reflexion on various subjects with the purpose of being published on social platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or simply WordPress. My favourites are about Influence Marketing, the Future of Social Media and my personal Instagram Survival Guide for Businesses.
Social Media Campaign, Influence Marketing Campaign and Market Research Campaign created for Chapman’s Ice Cream, Contiki Tours, Kylie Cosmetics, Nikon, Bailey Nelson, Starbucks, Seneca College Counselling and Accessibility Services (SCCAS), Fresh Restaurant.

I would describe myself as highly organized and a passionate individual with a keen interest in fashion, marketing and digital media. I have developed strong communication and interpersonal skills through my years of work experience as a bilingual (French and English) customer service representative.
Apart from my day job and student life, I have my own personal blog called “Pretty Naive” where I’ve been sharing photos and writing posts on fashion, travel and lifestyle for the past 5 years. I write in French on Pretty Naive to keep a certain bound with my mother language and my audience.
